well the thing is the little guy came backwards. The Vet said they could have probably pulled him out but Doran really wanted the first one to come out alive so they cut him out. i seen the calf and heifer in person like 5 days later and they both looked great.

You know if you shaved his head and cleaned him up a little we may get a better idea of what you have. JK. Smoken good calf.

Do they have to be clipped for you to see "see what you have"?

fair enough.  I remember I once made a comment like that about how a heifer would be much better once we clipped her out.  My boss stopped the truck and read me the riot act about kids not being able to see past the hair on a calf's head.  Just thought I had encountered someone like me back then.  ;D

Funny thing, I was told he came unassisted...guess that's a new definition for unassisted??? Somebody has some explaining to do.

it could have been a different calf im sure he has more on the ground by now

i don't have any plans for the calf, Doran just sent me the picture and i thought i would help him out and put it up on the web for him. so every one could get a look at him
