I had 3 born Sunday 8-26-12 all out of Meyer 734 x Angus cows. One Heifer and two Bulls. As newborns they all seem to be a little leggy and straight fronted. Is this an area of concern?

I took a heifer calf to our county fair this week and the first the the judge pointed out about her was her depth of rib. Her momma is a moderate size cow out of JPJ though. Really liked this calf so I'm excited to see what we'll get next calving season. (I think they get better with age.)

check out my post "thriller x heatseeker steer. thnx for the great year." hes always been pretty soggy. had a lot of comments that change the makings hed look almost exact to his daddy. only thing i wish on him was he was a bit thicker, but overall he was a awesome steer. super soggy. and not leggy.
