He won his class at valley beef show, and was Reserve Maine at valley.
2nd in his class at wlba spring preview.
won his class at maine anjou jr nationals.
2nd in his class at county, reserve beef steer, and reserve overall at county. got $3 a pound for him in the sale. I will be going to the butcher shop to get his true carcass results. as i know the ultrasound was extremely inaccurate on him, and every other animal.

Congrats with your steer! I know you've worked hard with him all year and you deserved the wins! Thanks a lot too for all the help you've given me along the way. You definitely know your stuff and you're a great showman no matter what anyone says! Congrats again!  <party> <rock>  (clapping)

thnx he lost to the grand by an inch. a lot of people have said they would have switched them. and the judge even said these two could be placed either way, but he was gonna go with the inch longer all black steer. i had to give the kid some shit after, cus i clipped the steer for state fair 2 weeks prior to county. oh well i would not have gotten anymore money for him in the sale, and the kid would not have gotten any less for his.
