Need tips for getting a long and tall show steer fat....

He's about 1500 lbs already and needs much more cover and fullness

You didn't feed him a nutrient dense enough ration or he would have finished long ago.  50% whole corn (whole for the scratch) 50% bagged finisher.  Lb of rice band each feeding.  Gradually take away the hay.
