We have an angus heifer that is on Grow N Shine and Shag. She's in a cooler that stays around 64 degrees and gets rinced every day. She had great hair this spring but we cant seem to get any back on her now. Does anyone have any suggestions for us? They would be much appreciated.

Check out the Hair Growth 101 thread in the Hall of Fame.  And wear out a couple of rice root brushes.

Good luck.

Is it staying hot when you turn her out at night?  That could be a major factor.  It has been staying in the high 80's at night here lately (for the last 3 months)

I agree about brushing.  I think its importance is sometimes underestimated.  Also, do you have fans blowing in your cooler?  Good to have air moving.

I believe you can brush till your arm falls off, but if you don't have Genetics,Genetics,Genetics it,s not going to happen.
My daughters first heifer was hairy as all get out when she was little. Now as cow she is slick as all get out. She is a Brangus X Maine.
