We have two steer calves that would make nice 4-H projects. Our daughter is no longer able to show, but still helps with the breeding and raising. First, a red roan steer out of an AngusX cow & BlueBlood. He was a twin, his twin has been sold. Dob is 3/25/10. This calf weighs about 570#. Next, is a white steer out of a 40 Guns cow x Maine/Charlois bull, our herd bull. He is all white and has a tremendous amount of hair. He weighs in just under 500#. Dob is 5/16/10. They both have enough muscling and bone to take them to the top of their class.. We really want people to come to see them and we can negotiate a price. I posted them a few weeks ago, but have washed & had them clipped. They are doing well; making great progress on halter breaking, have had shots/been wormed, weaned & eating feed well. If you would like more pictures, let us know. We are located in N.W Pa, about an hour south of Erie.
