In August of this year I reviewed my cattle venture and I decided I would sell all my cows, etc. and get out of the business.
I mentioned this to only a very few breeders in Canada.
Since that time I have been very unhappy with my decision and I have decided to stay in the Shorthorn business.
This past weekend I culled my herd and shipped the cows that didn't meet my criteria.
I was also able to sell some calves and shipped those that were not going to be keepers.
The BIG CHANGE is that my cattle are now located at Jamie Whitworth's Shady Lane Farm at Mortlach, Sask and he will be managing my herd.
I want to stay in the Shorthorn business mainly because of the good people I have had the pleasure to work and socialize with and because I am having fun doing what I do.

At a moments notice JIT helped us move many of the cows and calves on Sunday.
Many thanks Grant
Jaime and my cousin moved the rest to Jamie's place on Tuesday.
If you want to look at the cows at any time give Jamie a call.
He will be pleased to show you around.
I am back in the Shorthorn business and happy about it
I may have fewer cows but they are the good ones.
We will update our web site shortly.
See you at the shows and sales.
Many of you will continue to receive the e-coms from ULURU.
