UMBILICAL HERNIA REPAIR

I am looking for average costs of the surgery and the area you are from to see if I can travel there reasonably.  Have an 8 month calf that needs one repaired and I am having a heck of a time finding anyone to do it. thanks for any help.

Where are you located?Do you have a vet college close. It may require some driving. Ohio state think is around $200.

We are located in South Texas and had one performed on a calf for about $250.

I have one also, you calf though, maybe 3 weeks. Is it better to go about it when they are younger?

It's been about 13 years since I had one done.  The cost was around $60 in SE Okla.  It is a very simple procedure; takes about 15 minutes.  The younger the calf, the better.
