BARE AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME, an unexpected surprise out of my 14 month old show heifer. His sire could be any of the 2012 bull calves. We didn't even know that the heifer was pregnant until last week when she started to develop an udder, she'd been cycling regularly for the past several months. The calf had to be pulled and she wouldn't let him suck at first, but they are both doing good now. She doesn't have lots of milk, but enough. I'm just really happy that everything turned out alright. Guess I won't be showing her as a bred heifer in the summer!
