I bought a very nice heifer at a local county fair because the price was only sitting at $900, and I wanted to run it up higher. I was there to pick up an award, and wasn't planning to stay...then this heifer came in as the first animal to sell. I don't know the kid, but it was a very good broody heifer. We're in an area of heat, so eared cattle are the norm, and this heifer looked to be Simmy breeding at a glance. I ended up with her on that thousand bid, and then found she is bred Unstoppable X SimAngus. Any thoughts on this cross? I see Unstoppable is a TH carrier, so that is good to know. I'm primarily a Simmental breeder, and figured I would turn her in with Simmy bull, but now I may AI her. Any maternal success with Unstoppable heifers?
