Using liniment to get hair to pop ?????

We have a steer that has pretty good hair....but we cannot get it to "pop". I
have never had to use liniment, but understand it will make "flat" hair pop.

If anyone can tell me the best way to to use liniment, any help would be appreciated,
(spray, blow it in etc)......

I mix it with clean sheen or similar product. I usually go 1/3 liniment to 2/3 sheen.
You can also use electro shave (men's shaving product), which is cheaper and just as effective.

We use the Sullivan's hair stimulator linament and mix it with Klean Shean.  Spray it on and blown dry.
