What does the inbreeding coefficient mean when you select a virtual mate ? And how can you get the EPD off the American Shorthorn Association for Canadian cattle, Coyote told me once but I cant find it.

Not all Canadian cattle are registered with the ASA so you might not get epds.  Go to the search tool under registration enter the name, tattoo, or register number to get info on the animal.  As for the inbreeding coefficient, it is a number that represents the relatedness of animals in a given pedigree.  The higher the number the more closely related or linebred the animal.
