Finally got some clipping and picturing done today.  The little calf is a March 19th Walks Alone x 301 donor (Warhorse/Debull/Hot Coffee)

The bigger one is a March 5th My Turn x 301 donor....both are heifers.....I had 15 out of 18 heifers in my ET calves this year (NOT exactly what I had in mind!)

These two are consigned to the Smackdown sale in Hillsboro next weekend at Dwight Hamiltons place.  Come see me if you're close.

Medium to small framed cows with adequate to excessive rib shape and volume.....phenotypically correct and sound. (Is that asking TOO MUCH?) Seems like nearly any breed or composition.  For some reason really works well on Strictly Business daughters or granddaughters for example.

Homozygous black and solid patterned and have NEVER seen a monkey mouth out of him.

We've got a real neat My Turn heifer calf out of an SOS first calf heifer.  The cow is not quite what you described as what to take him to, but hey she's our best one so far this year so it works for us!

from this mating, I would say i like the My Turn the best.  Both impressive but the My Turn has more to her at this point. JMO

Have had several phone calls about bull calves.....but haven't received any pics to pass on yet.  I've only got one My Turn bull calf this year....the rest are heifers.  He's silver and pretty nice......I'll picture him in the next couple weeks.

The my turn x who/meyer at bogie green is also a very nice female.  All in all I thought the whole spring smackdown sale was an overall better set than last year
