We have a 2012 red bull Monopoly X Maine Angus, we have collected him and his semen quality is good....We are a small time
operation and don't have a big advertizing budget, but we think this bull is pretty good, his mother is 15 year's old has has never
missed....we have ALL retained ALL her females and they are excellent cows. My question....would any one out there be willing to
try some semen ???? We will give you the seen, you just need to either send us a shipper or we will ship to you for 100.00.

Have none of you posters ever heard the saying 'Never look a gift horse in the mouth'?

That said, Kama, you may be taking a big risk here.  I have read some very interesting posts on SP in the past as to the price of semen and the quality of cows it subsequently gets used on.  In a nutshell, cheap semen gets used on dodgy cows and very expensive semen gets used on the best cows.  This results in the 'expensive' bulls giving show winners and therefore creating an even higher demand!

How about you sell the semen at a realistic price, and the proceeds of the first, say, 50 doses go the the highest placed progeny in a (major) show in say, 2015?  If there is a tie, the show with the most competitors in the specific class shall be deemed the winner.

So we should breed our cows blind?  It does the bull no justice if we breed him to the wrong cows and get bad calves.  Maybe he is a tad bit shallow or tall or short or straight or...
