I have a real nice steer that I want to work with, but when we got him home he would try to take you and he'd slam the gate when you got in the barn. We brought up a red puppy dog tame heifer and tied her next to him. After this he was fine, but I went to put him in the chute and he was fine until she laid down and then he freaked in the chute. Not sure how to break him of being crazy without a cow right by him. Kinda a big deal for showing him. Please post your opinions.
