What are the best homozygous black club or Angus Bulls?

I have been searching around for a bull that will compliment my cow. She's a big bodied roan shorthorn. I also need (female) sexed semen.

I am shooting for a blue roan, so all black bulls only. What are your recommendations and how do the calves generally turn out?

I'm mostly considering Monopoly 5 now, but if I want a heifer will it be a good cow or more terminal? (I am more concerned about a good cow than about a flashy market heifer)

This is my opinion and I am sure a lot of people will bash this, but if you bred her to monopoly and got a heifer, Id make her a market heifer and let somebody eat her. I think they suck as cows (1 out of 10 is not good odds). If she were mine, I have heard from a breeder I really respect, that when he went through the bulls at Hawkeye, head and shoulders above everything Comfort Zone was the best bull there. Said its hard to believe he is even calving ease. Said he was sound, complete, smooth shouldered with plenty of power. Id go him on her. I saw a lot of good grizzly bears at schaeffers two years ago, but again Mono x irish whiskey x horn sounds like you will be bottle feeding that one. I think Comfort zone is the way to go. there are some other really nice sexed bulls, but idk if your willing to spend $250/straw just to A.I

I looked at a video of Comfort Zone and I'm not really pleased with how he walks. If there's anything I hate about most club calves it's that they waddle with terrible hind pasterns.

I've never heard of Affliction but I'm liking what I'm seeing, curious what Sizzler14 thinks.

You can always go back angus and try to get females like my profile pick.  Vanhove and Reimann have done an excellent job crossing clubbies and shorty's with angus and then going back clubby on those daughters.  OCC freestyle and OCC machinist have worked great

Thats a great point about the angus. I really think you should focus on determining a breed then we could suggest going from there. If Comfort zone is out, you can always look at Rebel Soul for the maines or even Gucci on sexed semen. As far as the angus goes, anything OCC but i dont know how much is out there sexed of theirs. Also look at First and Goal or Bismark. I would even think about going simmy on her. Ive seen a lot of MEYER 735 cows and I like them. Doctor Meyer and Step Up are also resembly priced. I will also throw out 2 bulls, one i dont know if there is sexed semen on you would have to check, the other is might be hard to find but I would consider it gold. First is Rum Chutta. You would need to check to see is Pinnacle has sexed him. The one that would be hard to find but very useful would be sexed Doctor Who.

I am a big fan of Affliction. Im too cheap to spend $250 /straw for the conception rates of sexed semen. But i really do like him

Alright, well now I'm thinking black angus. I have been looking around and really like Silveiras S Sis GQ, and SCC First-N-Goal GAF. Any other (reasonably priced!!) Bulls that you would recommend? I am looking for depth, soundness and a good front end.

I can't seem to find sexed semen for GQ though, so does anybody know where I can order that? (Link/phone # etc?) his conventional price is $50 on cattlevisions.com I believe. So even if you don't know where sexed is, anywhere with units cheaper than $50/ea would be greatly appreciated!
