Looks like a solid steer. What show are you taking him too? What's he weighing?

We're taking him to kerrville in Texas. And he's weighing around 1100 lbs.

picture is too hard to see anything small.. and too big to see anything blown up...

If you are taking him to a national next month- you either know his faults/ weeknesses... or you'll figure it out then. Not much that anyone on here can do for you, or tell you that will make a difference in that short time period.

a little staggy crest, not smoothly thick, kinda roundish made in the rear, would like to see that thickness uniformly elsewhere, would like to see more fat on him but he's not ready yet anyway, at least to me.

Yeah he's alittle not smoothly thick. Because he hasn't been clipped in a while. He has hair sticking up everywhere.. lol.

And also he's not on that level of ground. So I'll get him clipped up and get good pics of him before we take him to the show.

As our frined BS said, hard to see the small pic, but from what I can see:

Might do better as a slick.

I think he needs a softer look about him.    More depth of flank will help.

Like to see more hair on lower legs and maybe more bone.

Good luck!

Well i clicked on the pic as usual and it blew up to a larger size, so i dunno what yous guys are talking about that.
1) not enough finish, get him on a higher fat feed or add fat supplements
2) very round in his muscle design
3) hes not to bad in his flank depth though
4) would like to see him a little lower to the ground with the same weight
5) Next time wash him and blow him out
6) needs a decent clip job

I just cant stress enough, that unless you want to read posts of people picking your animals apart then you have better have them washed and fully dried with a decent clip job.
