what do you think of this Leroy Brown steer?

We are going to have a private treaty sale this year and I was wondering what a steer like this one should be worth? He is a Leroy Brown out of an EXT momma cow. What would you start him at and what should he bring?

good top, a little weak gutted, but he could come along once he gets on feed.  Clean front, would like to see a lot more wideness o the rear end, but overall a nice steer.

I think you have a good calf. He is lacking in the top a bit from the picture you have posted. nice clean profile but looks like he might develop some shoulder. Could be the lighthing. He is worth what folks will pay. I know that isn't what you want to hear but. If you have a good group of repeat customers he looks like he could fall in that 1500 to 2000 range. It is so hard to tell from pictures. You can't see one move etc. I would hate to price on without seeing him in person. Even then you may be surprised what some folks will pay.
