What is a registration worth?

Was wondering how much good it would do me if I registered my Hannibal x Angus bred heifer through the Chi Association if I am going to sell her this fall. I know it makes a pretty big difference in the Angus business. But just wondered thanks (dog) (dog) (dog)

Depends where your selling her to. I know in Texas the ONLY way you could sell her is if you registered her as a Chi because nobody down here shows commercial heifers so she can't be shown without papers

chi registrations aren't that much really. better to do it now while it's cheaper as it might sway a potential buyer later because of the convenience.

plus registering one tells the buyer that you think she was good enough to go through with the process.

this helps atleast in ohio because at shows it makes your class esayer some of the time.

Austin I would tell your buyers she can be registered and than wait to register her in the new owners name it will save you transfer fee also
