we just had a calf born today. This will be our first pair to show. The cow was somewhat over weight in February so we put her on pasture to get some weight off of her. We plan to take her to a show in a month and continue to show her thru november. I am feeding a 11% protien, 4% fat feed as a base with surechamp and beet pulp. What should I feed to put weight back on her and increase milk production?

Your ration should be fine as is.  If you will get a large rubber tub (apprx. 24" dia. X 8" H) you can feed the Cow in this on the ground, and in a short time the calf will digging in with Mamma.  Super easy way to start a calf on grain.  If you continue, and feed the calf separately, along with nursing the Cow, the Calf will be ready to wean at 3-4 months.
