I heard that Yellow Jacket will up size frame. Is this true? Also, I heard he is a tough one to use if you want to get a calf fat. I am looking to use him on smaller frame angus and maine type cows. Cows are 4 to 5 frame 1100 to 1200 lb cows. Will he work and what should i expect from the calves? Thanks in advance.

yeah use him on smaller cows. frame isnt our problem near as much as fat. its possible to get one fat but not near as hard as it should be. my steer came out yellow out of a black cow so color wise there is a chance of a smokey out of your cows. also make sure they are wide based. yellow jackets dont get thick. BUT on the positive side they grow tons of hair, muscling everywhere down the profile. and elephant bones and the soundest moving cattle around. just not as 'clubby' i guess interms of chunkyness and width
