I remember back in the 70's we actually put in the water for hogs per vet advice for treatment of some illness not sure what the illness was at the time but it was a practice that was used.
We had a heifer we showed a few years ago that had the same problem. We fed natural stride and it helped alot , it didnt totally fix the problem but did make a big difference.
I had an Alias heifer calved last year and the same thing when I would go to the pasture there would be two calves nursing. She had plenty of milk and has held condition very well.Just had one but thought about using him to raise more replacement heifers.
Leaving tomorrow for Louisville be there thru Sunday, Any SP members coming look me up in the Chi aisle would enjoy meeting some of you.

Thankyou on the comments, Both heifers are out of a Bachelor son that is also the sire of the summer born steer I posted the other day. The first heifer Belle is an April 6 out of a Strictly Business cow. The second heifer Fiona is a March 4 out of a Fear This cow. Justin it was good meeting you...
The Kentucy Beef Expo Chi sale will be on March 7. Anybody needing some good heifers are bulls the quality this year looks pretty deep. Here are my two consignments. These two heifers will make great show heifers and also become awseome cows.
