This is my new bottle baby Preston. He was born yesterday afternoon. We have him as a bottle baby because his mother can not get up. She almost downed giving birth. She can't get up, so is unable to nurse.

sorry about loosing you cow.  how old was she.  because liek they said earlier sometimes it is just natural causes.

i have raised my fair share of bottle babies, and now my bottle baby is having babies. Her bag is starting to fill and its probably a little more than a handful (to give a size example.)  how far along are they when their bag is in that stage?  She was in a pen with a billy but i have no idea...

i show cattle, goats and sheep, i'm trying to get into poultry.  We just added a market/breeding lamb show to our annual spring livestock show.  I'm looking forward to it.  Oh, and about the goats being interesting creatures, my second was a bottle baby, and will still sit on my lap at 80...

yes, she will be shown at a county fair and i bottle feed her mama and showed her (she turned out to be a very structurally correct cow) and when Emie was born i showed her as cow calf pair almost a year a ago.  i plan to breed her in May and continue to show her with cow calf pair classes. ...
