We bred the same cows to I-80 and Daddy's Money in 2 consecutive years.  The I-80s for us are much better than the Daddy's Money calves. 

We calved out 6 this year and all calved ahead of due dates.  6 days early on the average.

From our experience, I-80 is the way to go.  At first we only used I-80 on THC cows, but now we would use him on THF cows as well. There's nothing wrong with Daddy's Money, but for us the I-80 calves have much more power to them. As far as calving ease, we found our Daddy's Money were smaller...

We've had 30 or more Eye Candy calves and we have only had 1 with a bad attitude, in that case we blamed the cow.  We have replacement females from him that have never been a problem.

We've had about 10 Unstoppable calves and they've all been quiet.

5 females, 4 males here.  Funniest thing was a split straw between 2 cows and both cows had twins.

It definitely happens, I have found it and done it.

We've never had a problem with them for size.  Kept one as a cow and she's always had growthy calves as well.  All calves are structurally sound.

I had a similar experience a few years back and the cow was trying to calve at the time.  I had her examined by the vet who advised shipping her asap.

In our experience, breeding purebred angus cows back to club calf bulls works out very well.  We use proven bulls about 90% of the time. The other factor is that you need to have is good cows, doesn't matter what breed they are, they just need to be good.
