Thought I would start a prediction thread for the Ohio State Fair Steer show which is August 7th.  It is always nice to hear who's steers are looking good and who everyone thinks is going to win.  There were several good steers that showed in the BEST program this year and it will be interesting...

The red baldy sold for $6250, I had to leave before they bid off the Sis heifer.

The red Monopoly steer sold for $8000.

Wisdom heifer sold for $7500.  The steer calf is still being bid.

Pretty sure that is just a rumor.  He was not collecting for a while due to and injury of some sort.

Just wanted to point out that both the blue roan heifer in this years sale and the heifer above are out of first calf heifers.

The Wisdom heifer is out of a Heat Wave x Shorthorn heifer that Ryan McIntosh showed las year.  She was Champion Appendix Shorthorn in last years BEST season.  She was also a blue roan but not near as much white as the calf.  She was born the first week of March, I would have to check with Jason...
