We have run into a bit of a snag with this Calf his dam and grand dam are not registered so we likely can not register him as a fullblood but we know that he is from Fullbood lines.  I guess we should have kept up with registering cattle even though we were not really in the Purebred business...

Why don't most Club Calf Sire Directories list the polled or horned status of bulls. I don't know if I would turn down a  good bull just because he is horned. But it would be nice to know so that we can make breeding decisions.  The less work we have to do the better.  We like caustic the horns...

Fluid Film works great except my Dad uses it on everything that needs a little grease so the can is always empty. 

We have them in Moose Mountain Park Saskatchewan Canada . They survive our winters just fine.  We have no seen any at our place yet they are  10 to 15 miles south .  Most are escapee's from farms that raised wild boars.  The PIC Genetic Nucleus  hog barns have put up electric fence to keep them out.
