I think I got along alright. It seemed like it took me an awful long time trying to find the right spot. I Ai'd three heifers and the blue roan one day and did eight cows another day to headliner and walks alone. Still no calf out of the red heifer.
I Ai'd some heifers 11 days ago and I noticed this morning a couple of them have a little bit of clear goo coming out their vagina. Is this a sign of something or is this normal?
I just recently attended a McCullough fitting clinic in Leon Iowa with my daughter and son and would like to say thanks to Chuck and Karen and family for putting on such a good clinic. My daughter has a very hairy steer and took quite a bit longer to clip and we appreciated theirs and everyones...
I have had two calves out of a manchild/angus bred to dirty harry. The first one when she was a heifer came out 60lbs and this year was 85 lbs both were bull calves and seem to be doing good. I plan on using Rocky on some heifers this year.
Thanks Brent I got some numbers of him off cattle visions but I'm not sure what breed standard they use for there numbers. I guess I"ll just have to be a little more patient.
Very impressive looking bull would have liked to see him walk, but he looked pretty good standing there in the video, not to mention that he's pha and tha clean.
Thanks for the help. I know his first year there was some bad reports, but it was also a really cold winter and we had huge calves out of Ali and new standard which are supposed to be calving ease didn't save one of them. Just hadn't heard anything after that first year.
