    Calving Ease with color?

My son has a new solid red Monopoly X Who Made Who heifer that he'd like to breed next spring, and keep some color.  Does anyone have any calving ease recommendations for a red or smokey colored bull to breed her too?  Thanks!  Mark

    Where did $148,000 heifer go?

Pat...are you confident in Rumor Mill for a calving ease bull on heifers?  Also, will he sire a red calf, or homozygous black?  thanks!

I emailed some of you the picture you requested.  Willow...if you send me your email, I can forward it on to you.  I'd rather not post the picture on here without the owners' consent.  Thx!

I've got a pic of him at the bull stud a couple months ago.  I can email you, but won't have access to that computer for a couple days.

Simmy bull on Red Angus cows

Here's an interesting bull....  http://allens5xfarm.com/Sires.html  Bull called Houston.  Has a nice daughter pictured on the Pride of the Prairie simmi sale too.  Might be a good fit for what you are looking for.  Don't know anything about the bull, and have never seen him either.

I like your heifer by Unbelievable!  We used him too, and got along very well...  Good luck!

    Best squeeze chutes, why?

Riverrode in IL builds a really nice chute...and they also have a squeeze chute.  Price one out...probably a lot cheaper than the one's mentioned here already!

Bushs Unbelievalble and First Impression Calves

We had great luck this year with Bushs Unbelievable!  5 calves born, 3 heifers and 2 bulls.  All were light birth and unassisted, even out of heifers.  We showed all 3 heifers last weekend at the MN Beef Expo.  Here are some sample proofs from the show.  They are stylish and big bodied, and tend...

    MAB bull

I'd better not speculate on frame size...however, I am tall (6'6") so that affects the camera angle trying to get a decent picture through the bars on the fence.  And keep in mind MAB is a year older than Two Tone, so hard to compare too.  They were moderate, but not as small as some sires I've...

    MAB bull

I thought MAB was maybe a bit stouter....and Two Tone a little nicer fronted.  Depends on your mating, and what you need..

    MAB bull

Sorry...meant I haven't seen that many Monopoly sons to compare their frame size of each other.  He was moderate in frame, but not too small.

    MAB bull

Here's the best one I have of 2 Tone...  Some of the other pics I'd rather not post on a message board.  If you want to PM me, I can share a few privately if you are interested.   ;D Like I said, 2 Tone was impressive!  I encourage anyone serious about breeding cattle to take a bull stud tour...

    MAB bull

I saw MAB down at Nichols a few weeks ago too...  I thought he looked very good!  Very powerful bull.  I thought he was pretty moderate in stature, but can't compare to many other Monopoly sons.  Took a quick pic of him here too.  Hope the owners don't mind posting a picture...but I sure thought...

    The ultimate roto brush!

Those things are amazing...lots of large dairies use them.  Robotically controlled and will stop spinning when the cow walks away.  When they walk up to it, it starts spinning and moves around their body.  I've seen cows stand in line for their turn!  Bad thing is, it's designed to take all the...

    Calf Prices

The good ones are getting bought...but I think the flood of online sales, and lots of "average" calves, is contributing to the soft prices or no sales of common sale barn calves.  High feed prices with corn and hay make it less appealing to load up on a few average calves just to see how they...

What to breed to I-80 heifers?

Brent...have you been anywhere to see the Prowler calves?  What's the verdict?  Thx!
