Cool steer. I hauled a couple open cows to the salebarn this morning and someone had brought the coolest horned cow I have ever seen. I think she was full Watusi but her horns went out and then curled down like a herford that's had horn weights. She had massive horns with a perfect curl.     

Alias works good on sound plainer type angus. My best calf the past 2 years has been an Alias out of a Future Direction/6I6 cow. 90lb bw

This information is really disturbing.  My kids 4 H club had a bake sale and their leader decided to donate the money to the local humane society in our area, I told them that we couldn't support this bake sale and now our kids go to a different clubs meetings.  I had no idea that this was going...

Is there a rock quarry in your area?  I have seen those in loads of gravel and I assume that they were used as explosive devices to break up the rock into manageable size before it went to the rock crusher.

I'm not knocking the idea of crimping the tails with pliers.  What we do is tie a tight knot in the tail so we know they have been used once.  We also clean them with warm water and a mild soap, let them dry and then store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.  Works good for us, can't tell any...

Thanks for the compliments.  I was a little concerned that 2 calves might be too much for her, but in our county the heifer show is super tough and our only realistic shot at the premium sale is with a steer.  I had planned on selling this heifer but she is just too good natured to let go. ...

These are our 9 year old daughters first calves.  My main concern when picking her calves was disposistion with quality being secondary.  We raised the heifer and she is an alias out of an angus cow.  She is a doll with the best attidude of any calf I've ever been around.  The steer is a milkman...

This is the picture I meant to post!

We have an April born Alias steer out of a Hoo Doo/ Meyer 734 cow.  This calf is good and sound as a cat.  I also feel like he would be suitable for a young inexperienced showman as he is very gentle for no more than he has been handled.  We are located in Stillwater Ok and the calf is priced...

Keep trying.  First impressions are everything.  It's not really a bad pic, but I can tell you I would look at the pic and then move on, not taking a second look.  Good luck.
