This is a full brother to the red bull. We have sold him as a show steer. If anyone is interested, we have a couple embryos leftover from this flush that are posted in classifieds. Price is negotiable.

Champion Market Heifer at the Kansas State Fair was an Eye Candy out of a Shorthorn cow. This year we used Unstoppable, Choppin Wood, and Tiger Woods on our shorties.

We have the red calf on Purina Fitters Edge. He's developed well and we are keeping him as a bull. Another flushmate is selling at the Kansas Junior Livestock Show this Saturday and we also have a Smilin Bob heifer we are keeping and showing some.

The heifer is priced at $3,000. She looks better in person than the pictures represent. Once she gets her hair back in the winter she will look really good.

It is sometimes frustrating to sell on here. Even if we don't sell this heifer on steerplanet shes going to weigh over 700 pounds by October.

No somebody in our county was interested in her as a market heifer but they didn't buy her. We still have the my turn heifer too!

Is fitters edge a grower?

I called a local feed store and they don't have showmaster grower in stock but they said they could order it. However he said it would cost $18.50 for a 50 lb bag. That seems outrageous. What do you guys feed and whats the price?
