    Clubby Daughters outta Angus Cows

I was just about to suggest Climax. Seems to be working really well on Angus cows. Going to breed several to him this year. Have 3 heifers and on bull out of him and Angus cows. Not to impressed with the bull but he is finally hitting his stride as a yearling. The heifers are where this bull...

    Climax Heifer

We are hoping for a lot more like her. I have one Climax bull, i am not as impressed with him. I do have 3 more young climax hefiers and one yearling heifer. I will try and get some pics of her soon. She doesnt have the thickness that this little girl does, but she is going to make a great cow.

    Climax Heifer

Her temperament is good. Haven't put a halter on her yet but she will come up to you in the pasture and take range cubes out of your hand. Her dam is super gentle though. Got 2 racks of Climax in the other day. Going to breed several Angus cows to him this year. Really excited to see what my OCC...

    Favorite OCC Bulls

Homer is great on heifers. Have some really good calves out of him and our clubby type heifers. We have used Anchor for years, and love the type of cows that he makes. Super stout and great milkers. We are breeding a lot of our anchor females to climax this year. Expecting great results.

    Angus bulls on heifers

We have used In Focus with good success. Calves come small, only problem is they don't really hit a growth spurt till about a year old, but are making some nice cows. We have been using OCC Homer for years and really like our calves out of him and our Rocky Balboa heifers.

    Milkman heifers

I have 3 MM Heifers right now. One with a fall born calf at her side out of one of our LBW Angus bulls. She is a pretty small framed cow with a nice little udder. The calf she has on her is growing like a weed. The second heifer is due 2-14. She is more on the moderate framed side, but her dam...

Yahoo Says Agriculture is #1 Useless College Major

I graduated from the University of Arkansas in December of 2008 with a degree in Agriculture Business. I got a job as a loan officer with a fairly large community bank, during a time when companies were not hiring. I would say that 90% of the people I graduated with have jobs in the Ag field or...

    What to breed her too?

Take a hard look at Climax. He has worked great for us on our PB Angus cows so far. Getting some great heifers out of him. 75% of our calves have been bald faced with stockings.

    opions on heifer

I guess i you have facebook you can view it. This heifer is very nice. I would like to see her set up with her feet a little more under her, but from what I can tell she has good extension, bone , and muscle. I would like to see her a little deeper flanked and she could bring that muscle a...

    Alias Sired Bull

What type of cow is he out of? I am considering using Alias on some PB angus cows. Really curious what type of cow this guy is out of? Thanks, Brett Ausley

    Alias on stout Angus cows?

How well does alias work on PB Angus cattle. We have a lot of OCC genetics in our herd. We are planing on breeding most of them to Climax this spring, but i have heard that Alias can make some pretty good heifers. The long term plan is to get some heifers out of these Angus cow that we can use...

Opinions on my 2012 4H Steer

I like his extension and how clean fronted he is. He has all the parts to make a decent steer. I would like to see a little more bone on him and would like to see him bring that muscle down a little further in his rear quarter. Looks like he will probably finish out well. Nice steer.

    Meyers Climax 50R

We have 1 weaned Climax heifer out of a 3/4 Angus cow. Really showy looking good extension and flashy. We have 2 heifers and 1 bull calf on the ground right now out of 3/4 to 100% angus cows. BW were good 65-85 lbs. Really liking the heifers, the bull was solid black and horned not as impressed...
