We have one and my husband said it takes some getting used to.  He had shoulder surgery sometime ago and we bought one thinking it would help him drive the tee posts.  He said they are pretty heavy and you have to get a rhythm going.  Someone else that has full use of their arm my like it better.

We have seen alot of these 3 way crosses that are way too straight in their back legs and/or their hooves are short toed. They walk stiff. If you breed your own and you end up with a heifer your just passing this trait on down the line. Just my 2 cents :(

We have already culled hard also.....what is a corn cake?  Is it better to supplement with a feed or with something more like the corn cake or maybe a liquid feed?

Because of the drought we are now feeding hay and it is basically filler, not much nutritional value. Add this to the high temps here, and we are needing to supplement the older cows that have calves on them. Does anyone have any suggestions on any type of supplements that can be fed to help...

Interesting comment Sammie... No, these pictures don't do the heifers justice...IMHO. Yes, they are all born in March of 2011. As for the breeders....both families are really great people and in it for the kids.  They have always been honest and truthful with us and I wouldn't expect anything...

In the Bushy Park Farm sale  last year, there were several bred heifers sold that were ai'd to benz and boomer.  Does anyone have pix of these calves?

Sulphur Springs has an air conditioned arena....don't know about price.  Plus, if you have people coming from up north it is closer for them than something a little more south.
