I put a photo of FF Redman in the classifieds on SP.  Mark is more familiar with his pedigree than I am.  I always appreciate the positive comments about Redman when you are discussing something "different" for shorthorn genetics.  We like him!

I have dug through old posts and read up on Big Gene, but does anyone have a photo?  My dear old dad claims he was a "big bull"  -  how big was he?  In today's world, would he be a Frame 5?  6?  or more?  And it appears as if he and Leader 6th were full brothers, correct? 

We also found Ace of Diamonds semen difficult to find and so we are using DRM Phineas  -  a son of AOD that Mithchell's sold in the '12 Iowa Royal to Phil Raisbeck and another guy.  They are selling semen.  I believe there are some pictures of Phineas on Tom Mitchell's website...

I didn't realize Wild Side went back to Petro.  That's a bull I think about using each year and then never get to it.  Did I read that he was somewhat recommended as safe on heifers? 

Thanks for any and all information!  I was selfishly curious if we would get white legged calves or if there was real hope for pretty roans or maybe even red ones! The color of the donor previously posted would be just fine!  And if they looked like her, better yet!

Does anyone have information on a Shorthorn bull named Petro 2nd?  Curious what his pedigree name is.  What color was he?  I think there was some Maine in his pedigree.  I bought a few units from one of the SP guys  .  .  .  still contemplating what I should use it on.
