I have two bull calves due this fall.  Hoping they are as good as he looks.  I would think this summer would be the earliest any calves will hit the ground.

I cross Angus cows with Limousin bulls, so I see why you are asking.  The thing is, we are already having to test our 1/2 bloods to see if these calves have the defects.  So, with that being said, you have to decide how good of a deal the cows are if they are carriers of the genetic defects. ...

You can buy a tube of Lotrimin at the grocery store and rub on infected spots, they sell it for athletes foot and other itches.  After a couple of days it should clear up.
