    opinions again? same heifer.

I've got a bull that you need to breed that heifer too. JPJ son that will deepen her just a bit, add some bone, and will be safe for a heifer.

    Muridale Buster 14K

I looked a couple years ago and asked around and was also unsuccessful. Just bought some Buster 2nd, although I don't like him as well as his dad.

    DF GF Lily 102R !

I wasn't saying she was going to be the next champion at Denver, just appreciating a fancy looking heifer prospect. I will agree though, that I probably am a little biased knowing who her dam is. Regardless, I think that little gal will make a good show heifer for someone and more than likely go...

    DF GF Lily 102R !

Looks great Doc! You know I have loved that cow since seeing her at Duis' a couple years ago. Looks like that heifer is going to be a good one as well!

    .257 Weatherby

Does anyone have one of these rifles? Mine is a Remington Model 700. I'm wondering what your opinions are on ammunition. I've decided to go with the Hornady 90 grain GMX for right now, mainly because of availability. Looking forward to seeing what it will do.

Grabbed a couple pictures of the Talladega bull calf this afternoon. I'm impressed with Talladega. It's been awhile since we got to the 50's, he is enjoying the sun!

new shorty herd sire opinions welcome

This is definitely an interesting thread! I posted a few pictures of a Shorthorn bull that we raised awhile back. He is a full brother to one of our current herd sires who is now just over 2 years old and his first crop (only 5 calves) were all out of heifers with the exception of 1, all born...

    Talladega calf *Updated Pic*

Cow is sired by a Double Vision son that isn't/wasn't registered. On the bottom side: her dam was sired by Ka'Ba Keystone and goes back to Deerpark Leader 13th on bottom.

His BW was right at 100 pounds. She had him unassisted and he was up nursing within the hour. JIT...I think you are right! Ha, it was mid 20's with a pretty good north wind and I was having none of it!

    Shorthorn Sale Consignments

Hey guys and gals. I'm looking for a sale next spring to consign a few purebred shorthorn steers and and maybe a couple heifers. Being in Oklahoma, the purebred market for steers is less than desirable because the calves don't have to be purebred, just class as a shorthorn. If anyone has a...

Will he make a bull? *Updated*

Thanks Mark, I appreciate it. I really think the Ka'Ba genetics can make some of the better show steers around, especially for purebreds.

Will he make a bull? *Updated*

I have put pictures of this bull on here as a baby, and we think he has continued to progress as well as we would have hoped him too. He is sired by Jakes Proud Jazz and out of a Ka'Ba Cowboy/Ka'Ba Keystone cow. We weaned him at 6 months of age 3 weeks ago, and he has only been on feed for the...

XBAR Should be his campaign manager

Do you have the same view and thoughts about the most widely used drug in the world, alcohol, that causes the most addiction, the drug that causes the most diseases, and the drug that has resulted in more violence than any other drug? I'm with you and agree with your statement, but we can't...
