Question about Cattle for Sale listings

I have a couple of listings in "Cattle for Sale".  I don't understand how it works.  Do my listings expire, and can I refresh them (post new ones) after a month or so if my cattle are not yet sold?

Looking for opinions on quality ofSimAngus steer.

Thanks, VC I did not take it as a dig, I know he's green and expected some comments pointing it out.  I did ask for criticism, after all.  Our sale last year averaged $1400 for steers, none under $1100 but there wasn't a calf there that didn't have some maine or club calf breeding.  Some of...

Looking for opinions on quality ofSimAngus steer.

I sure  appreciate everyone's opinion, I have a hard time getting my friends and associates in our county to be critical of my animals, they all just say, "nice calf!" whether they like him or not.  I know he's green, he's not even weaned yet.  I am a breeder, not an exhibitor, just so everyone...

    Another Star Power Question

I used Star Power on my Dunlouise Excalibur  (Scottish Angus) x GFI Magnum heifer, moderately difficult birth, I wouldn't use him on another heifer, but the resulting offspring, now a first calf heifer, is very impressive.  Lots of volume and plenty of milk.

Has anyone used HRF Hairy? I would like opinions on calving ease.

I am considering using HRF Hairy on some of my Larger SimAngus cows.  I am concerned about calving ease.  Any opinions?  His owners tell me he works well on this type of cow, but I just wanted more opinions.  Also, have you been happy with his calves?

    Sudden hair loss

Yes, it could be lice.  If it is, a single application of sevin garden dust along the topline from poll to tail should do the trick.  If you're rinsing him daily, you might apply it a couple of times.

    Sick cow? Can't identify problem

My friend just called , and even the vet , who in my opinion is very good, didn't have a definite answer, but they treated her for everything they could think of including thiamine deficiency and the prognosis is good.  They gave her electrolytes, magnesium, biomycin 200 and banamine.  The vet...
