    I would agree with you in general, and that goes for any breed, but do not agree with you in specific cases. In this case I looking for a homo bull to use over some horned cows as horned bulls of any breed are much harder to market in Canada, and horned females beget more of those horned bulls...

    So do you have any pics? What kind of frame was he? i have herad that Columbas was more moderate framed for that time. How about GX Ridge Runner, another Columbus son?

    Found some semen on these bulls in a tank. Know the pedigrees and have seen pictures of Seville. Seville would probably only work as a terminal sire in todays age, unless somebody thinks different, what about Columbo?

    I checked with BCAI (now Westgen - Semex). They had a pedigree cert and a hand wirtten note on that stating "very big bull", but no picture ar any other stats. He must've been big for a British breed bull at that time anyway, as they bought him in 1969.

    I came across this Shorthorn bull in a customers tank the other day. Cane code is 29SS1, but ABS in Wisconsin doesn't have any record of him. looked on CLRC and only a few females were ever registered from him; including one at Muridale.     Opinions on Angus bull type

    Personally I really like the type of the bull. I like the depth of rib and masculinity he shows. I don't think he is too compact at all, and don't think he looks that short necked, just masculine. If you took some weight off of him he would't look so compact. This is what a production type bull...
