    Breeding Suggestions

Pictured is her and her this years heifer calf sired by a run of the mill Hereford bull. By the looks of her, should I breed clubby or shoot for a more maternal calf? TH and PHA free and I'm open to options. As of now, she is bred to Time for Gold, a plus bull. I'm just looking forward into next...

She's a Paymaster out of a Cherri Solution granddaughter. A little dirty and just a rough clip job on her and she's standing a little goofy but any opinions about her?

Mainetainer / Shorthorn-plus heifer PLEASE HELP

Hello, in my few years of showing, I found that a lot of walks up hill really gains muscle in the hind quarters. That and a good feed program.

Thanks again mark. I like the idea of going the shorthorn direction. She has zero clubby genetics in her.

    pasture pictures of my pair

Thanks Mark! I don't have too much to complain about on this one. I look forward to future progeny out of this gal. She's bred to a real stout hereford bull for the spring 2016. I do plan on AIing her after next years calf. Any bulls that come to mind when looking at her?

    Renegade Blues?

Nowhere have I found what I am asking for though. As a breeder, would one feel confident in the choice in breeding him to a second calver? I have never bred clubby before so I have done research but in my opinion it never hurts to ask a question you can't find an answer to. Having multiple...

Thanks OH Breeder. He's a spunky little guy too. The heifer is nothing short of excellent at being a mom.

first time calving a heifer. *update*

I have only had cattle a little while and have never calved a heifer. I have one either due April 14 or May 4 depending on which cycle she was bred. She's looking close so she's in the barn and I'm keeping a close eye on her. I guess what I'm asking is what are signs calving is near. Her udder...
