    Spring Shows

I posted this in Upcoming Shows, but haven't got a response yet, so thought Id try this. Does anyone know of any Prospect Shows in the Central Nebraska, or Northern Kansas area? They can be any where from November-July. I already got information on a show in Norfolk, NE. RSC and Cowboy, if you...

Tired Of Your Wash Hoses Being A Mess???

Well, I was, and I found a great way to keep them neat when im not using them. Take an old oil drum, and cut one of the tops off, and clean it out good. Then set a 5 gallon bucket down in it. Then you can just run the hose around the bucket and it will stay in a nice coil. Also, it helps to put...

    Final Answer

Has anyone used him? I have seen some really nice calves out of him, and the yearlings he sired at Connealy's looked great and sold well. What do you think?

    Plum Island

Just got the new Angus Journal today. There was a big story on the Animal Disease Research Center that is located on Plum Island. The island is 840 acres, and is located in a remote location off of the New York Coast, and is only acessable by boat or helicopter. The facilities are becoming...

    Fly Spray

What does everyone use for fly spray on their calves? We used to use a liquid from the vet store that you mix with water in a spray bottle. We just recently tried using an aresol fogger spray. It works GREAT. I was just wonderin what you guys used.

    Building A Mister System

We have a bunch of old sprayer parts. It gets really hot here in Nebraska in the summer. If i could get a hose with some old nozzles set up, do you think it would work? If so, should i place the nozzles in front of the fan, or above the calves so it shoots down.

Dirt Track Racing (Not Cattle Related)

Does anyone enjoy these? What are your favorite type of cars to watch? What is your favorite or hometown track? Every year we go to Belleville, Kansas for the NCRA Late Models on the 4th of July. They are a blast to watch. We are hoping to go down more than once this year. We also go the...

Cattlemen (and women) how do you afford to keep your cattle

This is a response to the farming thread. I am a farmer and a cattleman. We keep our cattle going by land we have bought over the years for pasture, (which we are losing a bunch to land lords tearing it up for farming), and by using our own grain to mix feed. How do you keep going with the high...

    Opinions on our new bulls

We purchased 3 new bulls just recently. I was wondering what everyone thought of them. Bull 1: This is R T P Temptation. He is a grandson of Connealy Lead On, and goes back to some Blackbird genetics. His dam is a War Fame 8541 daughter. This was the only son of his sire that sold in the sale...
