You have provoked some interesting conversation, that is for sure. What DO you find legit about the above reasons in selecting terminal cattle? I can see clean fronted (better cutability?), but deepier bodied cattle are sometimes wasty, and a level hipped steer doesn't make for a higher yielding...

We used Jigsaw and had about 10 calves off him last year. They were consistent peas-in-a-pod with a very maternal look. Good bone, lots of thickness, and not puddy. We sold every one we had, with the exception of a set of twins, as show calves, including the heifer that was Reserve Champion...

And one more! This guy is an Eyes on the Money steer also. I've attached a photo of his three week old legs... mostly because I'm pretty excited about his hair! All the other calves are about two weeks old, so I'm looking forward to seeing how they progress.
