    U Fit class questions

    Thanks for the reply!  Yes, it is for the Winter Beef show.  Are there a lot of entries in the U Fit classes?  Do fitters still "ball" tails these days?  Are there any "secrets" to making your calf stand out?  LOL guess no one will answer that since it's a "secret"!

    Can someone please explain how one would prep a calf for a "U Fit" class?  Rules for the class are animals enter ring with clean and dry with no adhesives, oils, other substances.  In the ring there is no use of clippers, blowers, paint, or coloring agents. Is it ok to do a complete clip job...

    WTB 4H calf in MI for next year

    My son is looking for next year's 4H calf.  This is HIS project and HIS budget :)  Very modest budget but a good showman and hard worker.  Calf must be located in the SW MI area - we have no way to trailer ourselves.   We are also looking for a calf for my daughter to raise.  She is only 8 so...
