Curious what you guys think works on JPJ cows to make a nice steer calves for Texas?  One is a JPJ x Heatwave, the other is JPJ x maine.

called the stock show.  They said no broadcast this year

I want to know the same information but can not find it on internet and the people at the show I know seem to be confused about that answer also.

What is the best time to see the clubby bulls in Denver this year?  What dates to see the most bulls?

I have always heard to feed them some corn stalk hay something to rough up or scratch the rumen sides.  Changes up the bugs and resets the digestion process.  After a few days slowly reintroduce him your regular show steer feed.

I know you guys up north have more experience with snow and blizzards on a regular basis.  What is the best place for cattle during a blizzard out on pasture, behind a wind break or wall or under a shed?  I have seen cattle get trapped in a corner and smother or get snow in lungs, they where out...

We are planning a trip to the American Royal stock show and was wondering where good places to stay not to far from the show?  What places to eat?  And what are some fun things to do and see while in Kansas City?

If any of you guys are up here in the Texas Panhandle you are welcome to come look at him and tell me what you think.  He might be willing to part with him if someone really likes him.

Does this steer have enough American character for the State Fair of Texas?  He is out of a Braford cow and a Maine Angus Bull.  Born in June of 2011.

Well it is that time again.  Time to breed our fall calving clubby cows for show steers.  What would be your top 3 choices? Please exclude Heat Wave.  I know he is the king but his big calves scare me off. 

Limmy folks just had Jr. Nationals in Amarillo.  They have had it more than once in Amarillo.  You could visit with them about their experience.

Which implant would you use for implanting a 600lb steer? He needs some growth and more muscle.  Just curious what you guys have used on this age of steer?  Ralgro or Synovex S? or Synovex C?  He has been on dry grass but is going on full feed.
