In  Okla beginning January 1,2011 all bulls moving to another farm to be used in breeding will lhave to be  tested for Trich with the exception of guaranteed virgin bulls. A friends herd was infected when the neighbors bull come visiting. It cost him half his herd.

When getting sale cattle ready for a sale or pictures, what type,brand of chute do you  prefer? I am talking all ages of cattle from 6mo. to 5 year old cows.

We use Nutrena brand black mineral. They have four different mineral mixes for different needs but we use the black year round. It is the only one offered by Nutrena that is chelated. I would be interested in Vita Ferm if it was available near by. i think it is a good product also.

I have 20 head of mostly Angus 3 an 4 year old cows that I am considering offering for sale next year. What semen shouold I consider to get the most attention from potential buyers. Breeding for late Jan or Feb calves.
