Eye Candy has been at Hawkeye Breeders for the last several months and he is NOT producing any semen due to an injury.  He is still at Hawkeye and we will be bringing him back to the farm soon.  His semen is going up to $100.  Thank you.

Yes Salty Dog is a Hired Man son.  It is a typo in our semen catalog.  We didn't notice it until someone pointed it out to us at Ohio Beef Expo.  Sorry for the confusion. 

She just calved Saturday night, 18 days past when she was due to Young Money.  She was apparently bred to our Irish Whiskey bull.  Nice nice calf.  Had it on her own only weighing about 75 lbs.  So . . . the Young Money calf report wait continues.  lol!

Young Money just returned from breeding his 3rd set of cows since Memorial Day and looks awesome.  Kept his shape, condition and hair.  He's weighing about 1,400 lbs.  He appeared alittle smaller last spring on display as he is a May calf.  He's grown out great and we are expecting his first...

He is a PHAC & THC.  I didn't catch that on the banner.  Good eye!  He will not be on display in Denver.  Jawbreaker, 90 Proof and Rico will be there. 

Young Money's first calf is due here at Trausch Farms on or around February 1.  He naturally bred a Real Deal cow.  He himself is a May calf, so he didn't freeze semen until later. 

Carpe Diem arrived here at Trausch Farms only 3 weeks ago and was ailing when he arrived.  He was simply failing as an older bull (he was 6.5) who was used heavily.  It happens alot with club calf bred bulls.  If you have any further questions regarding Carpe Diem, please direct your questions...
