    What do ya think of my son heifer?  Angus Jan 2012 TC Total X 6807 she weighed 1570# last Friday and she only gets hay and maybe 10lbs of a 14% pellet and some beet pulp.

    Jackpot Steer feed by Kalmbach

    I have been feeding 1/3 1/3 1/3 and had good luck! My only thing I don't like is the price but I'm also in Connecticut! Here is a pic of my sons steer that was fed the 1/3

    Update my son's steer was Grand Champion % Lowline steer @ the Big E this week!!!!!!!!!He placed 4th the week before in the lightweight class of the jackpot steer show he weighted 907# and the judge was very impressed with him considering he is a Lowline! here is a link to his picture...

    The best advice will come from your vet!!! Most vets don't charge for a phone call!!!!

    Lowline Steer

    Here is a pic of my son's steer in front of the backdrop!! Not the best pic but ya can get an idea of what he looks like! He weight in at 645# on Friday on an old style scale and on Sunday we weighted him on a digital scale and he was 672#!!  So he is gaining just at 2 lbs a day.

    Angus Outcross bull

    I agree with BS! I don't think I would use him on heifers,at least not until he was proven calving ease. If you study his pedigree there is some high birth epd's! He is a very good looking bull! would like to see a video of him on the move!

    He actually is pretty smooth shouldered. This pic was taken late in the day so being black it makes his shoulders look more pronounced! Here is a pic from Jan 1st of a different angel.
