Does anyone have a sample lease program/contract to use for kids asking to lease calves?  I have had some inquiries to lease a feeder calf for 4H/FFA projects, but really don't know what to ask for in costs etc. of the calf.  at the end of the project, the calf would come back to us if a heifer...

I agree also on your local AG extension office.  Also a local FFA teacher or 4H or Junior Fair advisor can help.  If anything they could direct you to some other showmen in your area. You could also contac the individual in charge of the beef committee at your fair.

Looking for some ideas to put together spreadsheets in excel to track -  AI dates, calving dates, heat dates ect...does anyone have any good examples they would share.  I've made some up, but it just seems to be way too much information on one spreadsheet. Thanks so much

Thanks for the reply...We did get a corn based mixture from our local elevator.  I saw rolled oats on a website and thought of putting some mixed in with the feed from the elevator. I didn't want to get the calves sick so I thought I'd check it out. Thank you for the welcome.
