Had the same problem with a heifer with ring worm around the eye. Took a sponge, soaked it with coke and scrubbed the ring worm area. Only did it a couple of times and the ring worm cleared right up. Hope this helps and I learned about this on steer planet from another post.  ;D

The bull is out of a heifer

This is our heifer 2/18/2010 birth date, BW 75 pounds.

This is our fall born bull, BW 86 pounds.

They are very stout and the ones I have also have very good rib. From what I see so far he is going to take some frame out of them. The fall bull is very, very easy going and mellow. The heifer is not bad either but a little high spirited.  I personally love the offspring out of forever lady...

Can someone please tell me why it always seems to be the absolute worst possible weather out when your cows start to calf. I stopped last weekend and looked at these bulls, there are some nice ones in this group for a cheap price. I would have took one home but bought two heifers instead. Thinking about going back down tho. Absolute nicest people to do business with and I will be a repeat customer! ;D
