The tiny little frosted blue butt is a Ironwood New Level (Angus) bull calf out of a JPJ x Yahtzee/Maine Angus 1st timer. She was a moderate and I bred her to New Level b/c he's like a 16 out of 16 on CED and pretty much assured me of a live one on the ground. I plan to breed her for a steer next time.

Very nice set of calves! That Vegas heifer and Primo heifer are really nice! The little bull calf in picture 3 caught my eye, only a rear shot of him but it looks good. How thick is he? We have a JPJ bull calf that we really like.

Thanks ! The JPJ steer is really thick - he's out of a cow I bought from Glover and the Vegas heifer is out of her daughter !

Nice set of calves! That second to last post of three pictures calf sure is moderate and thick looking. Very interesting looking calf there. It would be interesting to see what it looks like in a couple of months.

Jake's Proud Jazz out of a Casper x Double Stuff cow. He's not near as moderate as the pic makes him look. We think he will be a big time Shorty steer for us next year.

He does look like he has "big time" steer potential but if he is clean you may want to hold off a while on cutting those things out...

I guess you could always let the customer decide.

Too bad cattle people down there dont have no sense-that little dude would make a good bull to breed hiefers-if he got big enuff-pretty clear that you had some moderate BWS-but a roan bull just wont draw the scamolians a steer will-nice calves-and bred to work anywhere-JMO O0
