I just looked up and saw that we are closing in on 4000 members.

It's been interesting for those of us who have been here awhile to hear different oppinions from new members as well as the old ones. On a side note has anyone heard from SD?

Correct, I registered the domain in may of 2006.  Austin and I started posting in the through the summer, cowz joined soon after in the fall (under different name), red joined up in Jan. of 2007.

I became a member of SP on May 26th, 2007 at 2:49 PM. I received an email saying that one of my herd bulls was being discussed on Steerplanet.  I decided to come see what was being said and have been around ever since. The bull being discussed was Wolf Willow Major Leroy 1M and he is still one of our senior herd sires. SP has added another 7 new members since noon today so I am guessing that it should pass 4000 members with the next two days.

Member # 358. Joined March 5th, 2007 b/c of an invite from Red & DL. There is such a wealth of years of practical experience on this board from old & young alike. I used to ck 2 other boards first everyday. Now I ck other boards seldomly. I like how this board is civil for the most part although there are times that I have to admit that as I'm reading a post, I wonder to myself if the member posting is sober. I'm sure that it has been wondered about me also @ times. Brent

Red wanted me to come over from showsteer and wondered if I would be a moderator here. I thought she was crazy. Red spent alot of tome on showsteer. Registered July 5th, 2006. Untill the shorthorn police shut me down guess I'll stay.
