We have a March All Aboard heifer that is a little too straight. Is there anything we can do to keep her sound enough to compete or even make the cut as a replacement?
If by straight you mean straight in the front and rear legs and probably doesn't cover her tracks. That is a soundness issue and it is tough to change it much with foot trimming or anything else. If you must keep her in the herd then you should bred her to a bull that is sound or perhaps even sickle hocked to offset her straightness.
It's probably just gonna get worse as she gets bigger. That's a structure problem and there's nothing(besides genetics) that you can do to change that.
